spaces.msn.com suggestion

I recently added a blog for family related stuff on spaces.msn.com. I tried to add an entry this morning and typed:

msn.spaces.com. I didn't get what I expected

It doesn't bring up the new blogs it brings you to a page that isn't even identifiable as related to msn.com/spaces. I'm wondering about the MS thought process here. The URLs are too similar. Why didn't MS pick a more distinct URL or at least get the msn.spaces.com url and put content on msn.spaces.com to allow you to find what you were looking for? This seems like a fairly  obvious hole and a rather consumer unfriendly one at that.
