Update on the Windows Ultimate Extras

Hold the anchovies.....extras on the way,..

Our goal is to provide the highest-quality, most secure and reliable offerings, and as a result we are continuing our work on these offerings.  We apologize for taking so long to provide a status update to customers.

We intend to ship Windows DreamScene and the remaining 20 Language Packs by the end of the summer. We will not ship the last two Extras 

What we have here is a failure to communicate, the Windows Vista Ultimate Team have their own blog so why haven't they been posting? I've noticed that trackbacks and comments are turned off Barry Goffe, that's no way to have a conversation. Customers who have purchased Windows Vista Ultimate are your most enthusiastic enthusiasts, listen and you may learn.

Online Customized Ads Move a Step Closer

Yahoo SmartAds is an attempt at behavioral targeting of ads, directing ads to the people who are most likely to buy your product or service.

We’re doing real-time creative assembly that leverages what we know about our audience. You can buy the entire Wall Street Journal site, and when a female shows up, we will create a different ad or when someone from New York shows up, another one.

This service is just for Yahoo's own pages, they're not extending the ads out to bloggers which would have been ideal as bloggers reach niche audiences. 

Yahoo should be working with bloggers, they have the Yahoo RSS Reader, Delicious and Flickr. I'd like to see a page reminiscent of the early Yahoo where bloggers could be listed by categories and SmartAds could be delivered with links incoming and outgoing.
