Jobs's Music Proposal Rebuffed
I read the anti-DRM post attributed to Steve Jobs the other day and I saw the buzz it created on all the kool-aid kids blogs.
Steve Jobs may have given permission to use his name, but he didn't write that PR post. Coming hours after the huge settlement Apple Computer made with Apple Records made it extremely ironic. Remember too that Steve Jobs got his start in business by stealing services from AT&T with that
phreaking tool the blue box.
I don't think you can pirate Apple software because you can only run it on Apple computers.
I'll bet the lawyers at Cisco got a good laugh out of that free music stance, because Steve believes in free trademarks as well.
