Over on CodePlex today I found a wealth of projects tagged with SharePoint. Webparts you can use or adapt to your needs, if you have something your working on add it to the site and maybe the community can help make it better.
The Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Software Development Kit may also come in handy.
