TechEd is the most social Tech Event I have ever attended! PeopleEd would be a more app name and we have a lot of people here....12,000 is the official count, but the sessions have not been that overcrowded because of the distance you need to walk.......many stop, rest and learn at the cabanas.
I just came from the biggest session yet with Ken Getz on Visual Studio 2005 Tools for the Microsoft Office System. Then I just missed winning a Tablet PC as I went into the hall to grab Mike Hall to come in and get Ken Getz on a Podcast, the winner picker person came up to me and said nice buttons as I had the necessary Windows Anywhere button on, but she saw I knew Mike so she chose another guy...
Everybody is a winner at TechEd , the atmosphere here hasn't been seen since Woodstock, everybody is a friend you haven't met yet. Wish all of you could be here!
