This presentation, aimed at distributed applications architects and developers, explains Indigo’s core architectural concepts, programming model and key feature set. Speaker: Mike Vernal and Yasser Shohoud,
Yasser Shohoud is a Program Manager in the Distributed Systems Group at Microsoft. Yasser is responsible for ASP.NET Web Services and Indigo’s Programming Model and Metadata. Prior to joining Microsoft, Yasser worked as a Systems Engineer at IBM, a Software Developer and Architect at Best Software and an independent consultant, author and trainer focusing on Web services. Yasser has authored numerous articles on XML and Web services including the book Real World XML Web Services from Addison Wesley. Mike Vernal is a Program Manager in the Distributed Systems Group at Microsoft. Mike has worked on the "Indigo" team for the past three years, where he has worked on .NET Remoting as well as Indigo's Core Runtime and Communication Model.
