SWAG Report

Meeting friends in the Developer and Tech communities made TechEd a happening event. The sessions were extraordinary and I got to meet Anders Hejlsberg, Don Box and Inngo Rammer for the first time.

The real reason I spent a week of my life without any billable hours was to collect SWAGStuff We Always Get, and I got some great stuff!

12 t-shirts, the INETA Leaders Summit t-shirt is the coolest multi-colored tech-t-shirt ever, but I already wore my black Podcasting Crew shirt twice.

6 baseball caps, a cool black Windows Mobile and a TechEd alumni 2005.

6 books including Building Intelligent .Net Applications, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, RFID Labeling and Peter DeBetta’s SQL Server for Developers.

Over 20 CD’s including Smart Client Applications from MSDN, Virtual Server SP1 beta, Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System, Windows Server Update Services, System Center Data Protection Manager beta, Mobile Application Development Toolkit, Visual Studio 2005 Beta2, SQL Server 2005 beta, Powering the Presentation Layer from Infragistics and Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition.

2 USB Flash Memory Sticks. Assorted key chains, maglights, can openers, a beach ball, sun screen, pens and pens that light-up.

Although I didn’t win a Mobile device seems like a hundred were given away, or a Tablet PC; I was passed over and a guy from Dell was given a Toshiba M200. I did get a Graphire digitizer, thanks to Lora so I can start to think in ink on my PC.
