The XBOX 360 made it’d début in New York City yesterday as Peter Moore a VP of Marketing at Microsoft gave the XBOX Keynote at the Digital Life Expo.
It looked as if half the kids in NYC skipped school to be among the first to see the future of gaming, but it was a very educational day. XBOX 360 ROCKS, the HD graphics, the sound, the sleek design and all the cool games ready to launch next month.
XBOX 360 is more like a PC then the XBOX I own, its Plug and Play feature was demonstrated by Peter as he produced an iPod and asked who likes music? He plugged the iPod into the XBOX 360 and the software recognized it and listed the music play list. Then he pulled out a PsP, pluged it in and we were looking at photos while listening to the iPod tunes.
Peter enjoyed telling us all the story of his father’s Pub when he was a lad getting one of the first Pong Games and he then announced that something like forty classic arcade games will be available for download on your new XBOX 360. The trailers of the new action games stole the show; this was not an arcade game crowd. Awesome action games get cheered by this mostly teenage crowd and we all liked the t-shirt we got, where do I get one these XBOX 360’s?
