Gotta love blogs

I met Adam Bosworth at Web 2.0, he has become a hero to the Open Source Community because of the company he left to join Google. I enjoy reading his blog, he is very knowledgeable and has much to contribute to our software conversation. I read his post last weekend on the need for an Open Source Database. I have had this conversation with Open Source advocates, but they want to talk about everything else but that “free for all” database.

People who have never bloged have a difficult time understanding what exactly this medium is all about, they call it a diary, a personal web page and yada, yada, yada.

Looks like I'm not the only one who read Adam's blog over the New Year brake. Krzysztof Kowalczyk read it and posted a reply on his a blog: Google - we take it all, give nothing back. Dare Obasanjo then lept in with a posting of his own: Google and Open Source. Adam noticed these blogs and has added comments.

This is better then reality TV! We can all learn from these exchanges and if we feel like it; we too can contribute, or as they say jump into the fray!
