Another great day in the desert at DevConnections! Las Vegas is Las Vegas, a brand created by the Mob and now entrusted to the mega Hotel corporations with their opulent illusions. Last night I bumped into a “major” speaker at Microsoft conferences drunk and two hundred dollars down in the casino. Life is too much of a gamble, so I avoid games of chance because I don't want to throw away my luck for the sake of plastic chips.
So far I have been a winner here in Vegas, today with Dan Appleman, Bill Evjen, Dan Kiely and dear Kimberly Tripp. Kimberly just stoped by to say hi as I am writing this and Dan is walking by, it's nice the access conferences give you to people who bring you luck in learning.
