dbPal is a database management tool with some very innovative approaches to do the daily chores. It supports a number of databases.

You can check out the detailed review at Larkware, specially the animated gif file which pretty much give ideas to what does the tool do.

The company (IT-Map) is giving the MySql version of this tool, called MydbPAL free. You can see it here.

ObjectMapper v1 : MATS SOFTware

Mats Helander has released the ObjectMapper 2005, a O/R mapping software.

"Yes, my friends, the time has finally come! ObjectMapper 2005 v1.0.0 is actually here and you can download it right now from:
http://www.objectmapper.com/download .

As promised, there are no features locked down in the download, so you can try out the full version of ObjectMapper with all its functionality as much as you like before deciding if you want to use it in your commercial projects and should buy the Full Commercial License for 99$ / Developer - or, if you're developing a non-profit project, such as an open source project or a charity project, if you just want to go on using ObjectMapper completely free of charge under the Free Community License! :-)"

You would need to register before downloading the software.

D4Modelizer

A new version of D4Modelizer (Need Registration for Download) is released yesterday (0.2). It is a code generator which maps Databases to Object Model and produce C# code. It supports MS SQL Server (MSDE), IBM DB/2, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, MS Access, Firebird and PostgreSQL. It allows direct projects from MS Visual Studio & SharpDevelop. And it is free to use.

Strange though, it could not found a link to change my password. Well, next time I again have to ask for resending the password.
