LOTR III - desparately needed some editing

A mere three months after the movie was released and three and half after our daughter was born, my wife and I went out to see "The Return of the King" last night. Too bad it was so long, it need some serious editing - why not just leave the Frodo and Sam on Mount Doom? Did the battles all need to be played out in such detail? Frankly by the end the battles scenes were just a bit tedious and confusing. 45 minutes shorter and it would've been a tight, spellbinding move.

C'est la vie we're still glad we went, its just too bad that it had to be so long.

Magnatune - "We are not evil"
Magnatune. What an amazing record label, you listen to the music (as m3u streams). If you like the album - you decide how much to pay for it (from $US 5 - 18). Half the money to the artist and half to Magnatune. In addition they have a great tagline "We're a record label. But we're not evil." Cool. Found via Tim Bray and Jon Udell - within minutes of each other. This post is now hosted at: http://www.notesfromatooluser.com/2006/12/magnatune_what_.html
