Tim Bray's reorganisation of North America

I just spent the last few minutes laughing at Tim Bray's New North America.  I think its a brillant idea that would solve a lot of problems especially with Canadian Federal politics:

  • No more Bloc Quebecois - instead all parties in parliament would be focused on making federalism work.
  • King Ralph would have to choose which country to be part of - the "Liberal Federation" where his powerbase would be reduced or the "Republic" where is powerbase would be much reduced.

When do we get on with this great idea?
