Good news! SQL Server has competition

Oracle dropped the entry level price of it's new 10g DBMS to $5,000 per processor. With DB2 already at that level and MySQL putting pressure on from the bottom end, MS may have to think about a price-point adjustment.

Candidate for the dumbest error message.

If they need to go to all the work to add a dialog box in the shell that says:

You cannot drop an item onto a button on the task bar. Blah, blah, blah.

Why in the world don't they just add an API that allows them to do it? It doesn't seem like rocket science to me.

Hope they fix this in Avalon/Longhorn Shell
