SPOT Watches
The area coverage diagrams on the MSN Direct website seem to be pretty accurate.  I was curious about how far offshore the coverage would go.  My ship left port and we were still within sight of Virginia Beach when I lost the signal.  So I shut off the radio for the remainder of the cruise.  The good news is that with the radio off I didn't have to charge the battery very often. It sure would have been nice to get updates while just off the coast though.
