Being somewhat new to this, I'm not really sure how to start--or if it really makes any difference.
For those of you that don't know me, I'm the Bill Vaughn who writes books on data access technology. I'm focused now-a-days on Visual Basic (all kinds) (I'm a VB bigot), SQL Server and especially the layers inbetween. Actually, I've been spending the last five months writing a new book “Hitchhiker's Guide to SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services” with Peter Blackburn. I also speak at conferences from time to time so perhaps you've heard me speak.
I also write for SQL Server Magazine as well as MSDN, and I have a column in Processor.com.
I host my own web site at www.betav.com.
I've been known to answer questions when I can and I try not to make up the answer when I can't...
