A (long) while back I used a Microsoft's tool called "Database Hammer" to perform load testing on a database. It was implemented in VB 6 I believe and had a few limitations I wasn't happy with. My questions is, are there any newer, better tools out there shy of writing an a small test app each time? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
