Yahoo and Desktop Search
Yesterday Yahoo announced the future release of its desktop search product (planned at the end of January). The new Yahoo's Desktop Search will be free (obviously) and based on an existent tool, the X1's Desktop Search (what is there under this partnership?).
I'm curious to see a comparison between the recent Google Desktop Search and the future release of MSN Desktop Search, that I think it will be totally integrated into the OS.
Yahoo has released this comparison table (obviously, must be taken carefully):
The new war now is moved on the Desktop Search field and we'll see what happens...
