I've just checked an email received from the WPC staff and I've see a great news... all the WPC member will receive a copy of Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 for free!
Wonderful... I love virtualization software and this products seems to be really interesting to try. Virtualization softwares are interesting solutions for the IT world (and for developers in particular), expecially because lots of times companies want to consolidate servers and reduce the need to purchase test servers that are not used 100% of the time. I'm curious to see how Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 works and how is the performance comparison against VMWare GSX Server.
Do you remember the Windows XP (Media Center Edition) Royale Theme I signalled some months ago? It was an unofficially and leaked release, but many of us will appreciate and adopt it soon.
Yesterday evening Microsoft has released this theme for the Tablet PC platform (with the name of Energy Blue). I've tryed to download it and see if there are changements on it respect to the old Royale Theme, but nothing has changed (the version is the same, 5.1.2600).
What is curious is that, if you download it (from HERE) extract the theme with Winrar and use the file Royale.msstyle, you can install it on your Windows XP!!
A little alert... the leaked one seems working better, it skins everything of your Windows XP; the last one doesn't work so better (the Task Pane is not skinned for example).
