VB, Average Beer?

Tom Hollander has obviously been out of Australia for too long. Even to hear Vic Bitter described as average beer is scary. Yes there are worse, but really with the over abundance of choice that we have. Personally I’m into my own micro brewery. So I'm a snob, i don't drink ordinary beer, don't use VB6 anymore, don't even use VB.net anymore...

To quote Tom:

If you are one of those people constantly consuming six-packs of VB and don't know how to move on, check out the community drop of our new VB6 Migration Guide. If that won't help you migrate to something better, I don't know what will!

Attacking Hash Functions

Reading this article gave me a chill down my spine that will take a while to get over. Wow, a real world example of how simple it is to spoof an MD5 certificate. The author also mentions exploits for SHA, i haven't looked into this yet but am wondering if the exploit is also trivial.

You Are an Espresso

Nice Library of Open Source CSharp Code.

I stumbled over this gem a few days ago. There are a couple of projects here that i can see myself pulling apart to understand very shortly. http://csharp-source.net/

I am currently looking at NPlot as a graphing solution for a project I’ve been working on part time for a couple of months now. The graphing requirement have been changing almost my the second (I don't have anyone to blame but myself for this damit) so it came as a welcome surprise when i found this and found a working solution that more that meets the my needs.
