So, blog #2. Since my last post, I have been posted up in Santa Clara spending some quality time on campus and attending fantastic courses about contract negotiations.
D and I are now in Sactown visiting our pals Kelli and Mark. Kel is the content manager at a company called Salu. We met while she and I worked for aspnetPRO magazine. Mark is our financial guru and works for Ernst and Young. We have had a splendid time eating, drinking and running into some very interesting old friends. Sac is growing up and we saw a lot of silicon last night at the latest hot spot in town.
Today we spent time shopping for our upcoming trip to New York City. D is now the proud owner of very hip Versace jeans - I will have him model them and post some pictures soon :)

So...I am not really sure where I am going with this, but if I don't add some sort of material today (at this second in fact - as Donny Mack sits here and looks over my shoulder) - I may be a disowned friend.
I am Erika, a.k.a. barbie - connected to the dotnetjunkies via my boyfriend, Doug Seven. Although I have been submerged in the world of technology for years now, I have no code writing skills at all. So if you are looking for technical assistance - I am so not your girl. My expertise lies with the planning and marketing of tech events.
I, too, am currently at TechEd in Dallas. We are having a splendid time making the rounds with all of our long lost friends. That is all I have for now. We have several events that we have RSVP'd for this evening. I am sure that the night will strech long into tommorrow.
