When speaking at conferences you’re always a bit nervous
about the competition your session is going to get from parallel sessions. Therefore,
I was very pleased when I was mailed the final schedule for the JavaZone 2005 conference on which I’ll be
speaking next month. As it turns out my presentation will be in the second
largest room, and it is the last presentation on the last day of the
conference. Richard Öberg is
speaking about integrating portals with WSRP
in the large room at the same time, and my fellow Objectware-consultant Bjørn
Bøe is speaking about service oriented design using dynamic proxies in one of
the smaller rooms at the same time.
From reading the schedule I also learned that Christian Weyer will be speaking at
the conference. I’m really looking forward to hook up with him and Ted Neward who are the other speakers
with a .NET-background.
The conference is close to sold-out, so if you’re in Oslo on the 14. to 15. of
September and feel like going to a conference with many good session on
anything from SOA, to light-weight development strategies, software life-cycle
management and much more, be sure to get your tickets soon.
