CustomizeGoogle

CustomizeGoogle is a Firefox extension that enhance Google search results by adding extra information (like links to Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, MSN etc) and removing unwanted information (like ads and spam). All features are optional and easily configured from the options menu.

  3. adds links to competitors ("Try your search on Yahoo...")
  4. rewrites links to point straight to the images in Google Images
  5. removes image copying restrictions in Google Print
  6. secures Gmail, switches to https
  7. anonymize your Google userid (disabled by default)
  8. removes ads (disabled by default)
  9. adds a result counter in search result (disabled by default)
  10. filters spammy websites from search results
  11. add link to WayBack Machine (webpage history)
